We came, we saw, we were conquered by the soul-destroying hagwon machine. This blog starts with the chronicle of my and my former partner's 8 months working as ESL teachers at a private academy in South Korea, and the two months following our resignation in which we backpacked Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia. After three months volunteering with a conservation corps in Arizona, I spent six weeks backpacking by myself in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia and then came back to Flagstaff and did a 900-hour (6 month) Americorps term with the same conservation corps. A series of events led me to realize I needed to go traveling again ASAP, so I'm on an indefinite journey, possibly around the world if I feel like. Currently in England.
Suggestions welcome as to where to go and what to do with my life.
